4-Way Tie Playoff Bug

Yup, four teams tied for first place: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago and NY.

First playoff game: Chicago vs. Boston
2nd Playoff: Chicago (again?!) vs. NY

Chicago lost both

3rd playoff game : Ny vs. Boston....Pennant won!

But poor Baltimore...not in the playoff at all?! What gives?

please update your game: Patch to 2.0.3.68 or 8.0.0.13 Before Asking a Question

This could still be an issue even after updating but you should use the most current version to find out.

I'm gonna say that it's a safe bet that he's never going to see this situation again. Just wanted to log it correctly.

My "zero-games" bug reported here dealt with something totally different, but I saw the same thing there...no matter how many teams are tied (in my case at 0-0), only three of them are apparently scheduled for such one-game playoffs.

And for thsoe of us who don't play 162 game schedules, but instead play 16 game schedules, this situation oocurs frequently.

16 games? That's gotta make for some stressful baseball.

The only good news is that if you schedule the correct games manually, you can get a realistic pairing and outcome.
