No fights or players thrown out

I suppose these are 2 separate issues. They are not particularly major, but do deviate somewhat from previous versions of this game as well as real life.

1. There are never any fights between players, or bench clearing brawls. I've plunked many a batter and had my batters plunked plenty. But nothing ever kicks off. The most likely result is the batter gets an injury. So I've stopped throwing at batters completely, because it's too easy to achieve the objective - walking a dangerous hitter to an 'open base' - and get one of their top guys injured in the process.

2. In addition to this, nobody ever gets thrown out for throwing at hitters. And nobody gets thrown out for arguing with the ump.

Anybody else notice these things? Is it a design feature of the game, or something approaching a bug?

And yes, I did search this forum to see if this was already reported, but couldn't find anything.

There's a 'HBP/Fight Boolean' in the injuries.txt file (i.e. some injuries were meant to happen either on an HBP or during a fight), so at some point there must have been an intention to get the occasional fight or brawl in the game. I've yet to see one, however. Would be fun, so hopefully someday. I just had an inning where the opposing pitcher hit four of my guys (4 HBPs in one inning!) and then a fifth in the next, and that would be an ejection in most games.

As for intentionally hitting guys, I do it all the time, but I've yet to injure anyone that way. Obviously, I've seen lots of HBP injuries, but never when I choose to intentionally hit someone- if injuries do sometimes happen that way, then there should be consequences for trying it- possible ejection, brawl, etc.

And remember past versions you could argue a call which often led to an ejection...it was kind of cool.
