Annoying Pitcher Roles Error
So, I accidentally set my right fielder to be a closer and then immediately switched him back to his normal position. However, he still shows up as a closer (as well as right field).

This might not work, but it's worth a try:
While in commissioner mode, go to that player's profile page. Select the 'edit player' tab. In the righthand column, scroll down to where the various positions' experience is listed. Find 'Pitcher' and enter 0 for experience. Exit the player profile and check whether he's still listed as a closer on the lineup screen.

Can you show us some screenshots of where the problem is?

Very odd, but very reproducable. TT 3652. Here are the steps I've listed to reproduce the issue:
"Set a position player as an SP. Set him back to his original position. Filter his team's Pitching screen by Position: Starter Note that your player pops up in the list. This can be repeated using SP, MR, or CL, but the player will only show up in the Position filter of the pitching role he was last Set As." |
