Oddity with Player Ages Found with Scouts

I've now seen this a number of times, although I can't find any sort of pattern as to when or why.

I just a report from a Scout in Cuba. He reported he has found some talent and when I look at the player profile I see something like this:

Name: Arther Cote
Date of Birth: 03-13-1937
Age: 25

Problem is, it is currently 1982, so first off he should be 45... Then I look at his history and see he has already had a full career!

6-01-1955 Drafted in the 1955 first-year player draft (Round 1, Pick 15, 15th overall Pick) by the Philadelphia Phillies.

BLAH BLAH BLAH Generic History

04-09-1962 Injured (torn back muscle), career-ending injury!
04-10-1962 Released by the Philadelphia Phillies.
09-04-1962 Retired from professional baseball.

Like I said, I've seen this on occasion, but I don't see any pattern as to why it pops up. I am currently using the most recent patch, and I believe the previous versions were giving me the same issues.
