Small Text XML Issues
I wish I could be more specific, but right now for some reason 'any' button I designate to use for my screen capture makes the current screen go away. As a result, I have no pics to share. I'll get that figured out, though.
Btw, I really enjoy this pbp xml. Fundamental, occasional surprise. It was a good, good effort by the team. The only thing I've noticed so far is that on occasion the wrong fielder is referenced, or at least logically he wouldn't be the fielder: a ball hit 'toward' second and the 3B picks it up for the toss, a ball hit down the left field line and the RF chases it. Those specific examples are the only ones I've taken any note of, with the exception of the "behind the plate" ball that is fielded by anyone from C, 3B, to 1B, and I can rationalize any of those. FWIW

Not one of those I mentioned, but one I'd like evaluated. The batter, Payne, hits a double. Jensen is on first when Payne comes to bat. There appears to be a cutoff by the 2B Ludwig and a throw to third to get Payne? Is it conceiveable in any way that Salinas, the catcher, would take that throw? Or is the cutoff actually thrown home and the pbp indicates third in error? Either way, something does not sit right with this scenario. Input?

Well, the cutoff throw definitely didn't go home from what I can see.
Depending upon where the ball was it, I suppose that it is conceivable that both the 2B and SS went running into the outfield, the 3B covered second base, the C covered third base, and the pitcher covered home ... but it seems unlikely. I can TT it if you agree. |

In this situation, or any for that matter, I can't conceive of a pitcher covering home putting himself at risk of collision.Treat it as you see fit. I trust your judgment and defer to your disposition on the matter.
