40-Man Roster and Service Time Issues

Two issues with Secondary Rosters:

Any player on the active roster on Opening Day accumulates one day of ML service time, even if they are not on the roster when the first game is played. If I wait until Opening Day to cut my 40-man roster down to 25, the 15 cut players will each gain one day of MLB service time, which shouldn't happen. Of course, in real life, there is a deadline for cuts a day or two in advance of Opening Day, which would prevent such problems.

Related to the above, playing with standard roster expansion on Sept 1, if my team does not make the playoffs, the game does not force me to cut my expanded 40-man roster back to 25. I can leave 40 players on my active roster the entire off-season, up to the end of Spring Training the next year. It is only when I need to play a game at a time when the 25-man roster limit is in force that the game requires me to demote any additional players. The game should require all teams to cut to 25-man rosters at the beginning of the playoffs- otherwise teams can easily avoid passing players through waivers when they should need to.

In both cases, the game lists the roster sizes as 'Washington Active Roster (40/25 Players), so it's clear the game intends a 25-man limit to be in effect, but does nothing to enforce it. The above is with the latest patch.

TT 3715 has been claimed fixed for the next patch. If you do not find it to be fixed when the next patch is released, please post to that effect in Tech Support along with this TT number. Thanks.
