All star game in schedule editor

Under game type, all star game is not an option in the schedule editor

More info is needed please. What kind of league, e.g. historical or fictional? Which year is the league in? Have you made any schedule settings or other changes previously?

I don't think All-Star Games are supposed to be available for manual scheduling to begin with...

This is a fictional league imported from 2006. The year is now 1972. The all star game was scheduled for a day that included a slate of regular games, rather than a week later during the three day break... I suspect that this occurred due to my settings in Game setup (the settings there are a bit ambiguous). A similar report by Notareus here

However, my real point is that if you can schedule all other kinds of games, it would seem that you ought to be able to schedule an all star game in the schedule editor.

So there is no way to do this, I take it.

I've logged the request as TT 3725. If there is a way to actually do this in game, someone please speak up so that I don't look silly for requesting an existing feature.

The problem is that the All-Star Game isn't a game like the other games in the schedule; it doesn't feature any existing team in the league but rather new, composite teams of players drawn from all the other teams in the league. The result is that it is has to be handled differently.

What setting were you selecting?

This TT has been marked as something to consider for the next full release of OOTP.
