Salary Cap question

Is there a way to stop pc teams from signing players in Free agency when they are already at or over the cap? The cap is set and has been set at $92 million.

Thanks

Peter

By PC teams, do you mean teams controlled by the AI?

Are you using version 2.0.2.53?

Yes I mean AI.

I am using the patched version, you already have a copy of my league in a zip file regarding an issue with the feeder league schedule generator.

I've heard others mention the behavior, but I don't see it logged, so I've put it in as TT 3732. Thanks.

This issue was marked as something that cannot be reproduced. Does anyone have another league file that they could present that displays the same behavior?

I know. He can't make it happen again. Can't figure out why your league did it, or something of that nature. I'd need another league.

I see this problem, too. I set the salary cap at $90 million and computer teams offer deals that would put them over the cap constantly.

The other AI teams outbid them, but...it still happens.

Is it just market behavior so that the other teams are trigger to offer more money or is it a bug?

I'd really like to see a 'hard cap' where teams are not allowed to exceed the cap at all.
