Randomly losing my job (not getting fired)

Anyone know what would cause me to be just removed as GM of a team and it say nothing?

I was GM of the Yankees and made the playoffs after 3 consecutive sub .500 seasons under the old GM and I was just magically removed (and in my manager history it says I didn't make the playoffs but I did.. ) and then I GMd the Athletics, same thing, then the Red Sox, same thing.. can't stay with a team it keeps just removing me

Which version of the game are you using? Are you playing in commish mode?

It's 2.0.2.53, not in commish mode

Whoops never mind it did it again. When i go to my manager history, despite making the playoffs, it doesn't list that I did make the playoffs (perhaps from removing me from the team before it's simmed through) even though I had 111 wins, and it also doesn't give me the points.

Anyone know how to fix?

Keep going. Once you hit the off-season (maybe pre-season) the record should be updated. Let us know if that was it. Or is it not just your history getting messed up? You got removed from your team again?

It's weird how the game works. I'm in my 31st season with one team. Touch wood I've yet to be fired.

Check your financial. My understanding is that financial issues affect job security in a big way.

His problem is that he doesn't seem to be getting any message when he is fired, RchW, at least from what I can ascertain. Neohemp, is that correct?

Neohemp, does your proper playoff record get recorded once you advance to the next year's preseason?

Nope it doesn't list that i made the playoffs at all.. on my manager history it says 111-51, 1st place, but is blank where it says playoffs. And I don't get a message about being fired or more importantly it doesn't assign me my points (which leads me to believe it's thinking i was never on the team)

Never mind I did receive a termination notification (my bad) probably due to financials, BUT.. it really doesn't explain why i don't get my points or credit for making the playoffs that season...

Okay, you getting notification of the firing is good.

At what point in the season were you fired? Was it after the playoffs had ended?

Yeah it was right after the last game of the World Series. (That I won against my former Cardinals, heh)

I can verify that if you leave your team on the last day of the World Series, you aren't credited with a playoff appearance. It counts it once you advance to the very next day, but I guess if you happen to be fired (or quit) on that exact day, your record doesn't reflect your performance (or score).
