Is In-Game Pitcher Injury bug still in OOTP8?

I was curious if somehow this got fixed in OOTP8. The thread linked below details the problem I am encountering on an almost daily basis (well, any time one of my pitchers gets injured in a game):

It's remarkably frustrating to me, as since I play all of my games out, my pitchers are invincible because if one of them gets injured in a game, the game crashes and so it never really happened.

I'm curious if a) others have run into this problem and if you've found away around it and b) if anyone playing OOTP8 has run into this problem yet. I'd be interested in buying OOTP8 if this somehow got fixed, but since it wasn't explicitly listed, I doubt it is. It also seems like a lot of people have run into new problems with OOTP8 that they didn't have before, which puzzles me since OOTP8 was supposed to be a cosmetic facelift and the guts were supposed to be basically the same as OOTP 2007. I'm not interested in buying OOTP8 if the pitcher injury bug isn't fixed and/or if it creates more problems than it solves. Hoping someone can advise me.

yep. you're not the only one who is getting it. I'm getting it as of 8.0.0.13.

Sorry to hear it's still in OOTP 8, but glad to hear it's not just me. Man, I really hope Markus and co. find this one and sqaush it for OOTP9. It's really frustrating.
