BZ 1647: Multiple emails with same info

I can't believe that no one has posted this yet, but a search came up with nothing.

As a minor league manager, the same players are being demoted and promoted in one message.

It happens also with signing new managers, but I thought that was posted earlier.

Are you the manager of the A level team?

It looks like for one issue the team is sending players down a couple of levels, but for some reason has decided to do it in a level by level basis, so the player appears to be just passing through.

I am the manager of the AAA team.

I don't think it really affect things too much, just annoying to have to move through those messages.

OK, that's weird. Why would they be raised up to AAA and then sent to SA?

Has this occurred in any other leagues you've run?

I think so, but I don't have any real data on it. I keep deleting the old leagues as I try to get this one setup right.

The developers can't get this to happen for them. Can someone with this issue please FTP us a zipped copy of their .dat files and let us know the filename per the instructions below? Thanks.

Done. The file is 'Costello.zip'.

Note that in order to recreate the issue, I simmed a short while and it appears that it always happens straight after the amateur draft. I would guess that it has to do with the roster sizes, but other than that I have no idea.

Removing the maximum roster size from my minor leagues 'appears' to have fixed the problem.

No, I'm sorry. Presumably, either a fix couldn't be figured out, or it wasn't judged to be worth the amount of time and effort needed to implement it.
