BZ 1608: Trade Deadline Crash

I had been playing the games out and had just reached the trade deadline. I played out the game (a guy went 4/5 with 4 doubles!) and as I clicked "Leave Game" it crashed.

I loaded the game back up and it took much longer than normal. When it finally loaded, it was back on June 15. There is nowhere that I see anything about trades or all-star game appearances. It's like everything just reverted back.

There are, however, replays of after the June 15th date (but not of the June 31st game - June 30th is the most recent one).

I didn't know what to show here, so I uploaded the .DAT files via FTP (just the dat...no replays or anything). If something is missing or if I need to FTP anything else, let me know. The FTP is "MorseMoose Trade Deadline Crash.zip"

This issue was marked as something that cannot be reproduced by the developers. If you have any further information to share regarding this problem that might help us narrow it down, please let us know.

Unfortunately, it's all I have. I know I'm not on crack or anything...it did crash!!

The replays confirmed that I was right (though I think they've long been deleted). It may have just been a normal move-to-next-day crash that happened at the trade deadline. I don't know if you want to delete this or not, but just have it in the back of your mind that something could be up...I guess.

I've had a very similar issue since patching to 9.1.2.

Twice now, I have crashed while playing the game on August 1st, 2008. The first time, I lost all data and stats back to the All-Star break (the last save). The game just crashed in the third inning.

Next, I saved prior to play on 8/1. Was able to play through the game, but crashed after I clicked "Leave Game".

As a quick update...

Simmed my game on August 1st (still won...yeah!). Was able to continue on without incident. It is now August 4th and all is well.
