That's what mine has, Miz. I just checked by booting up the game (not running any league or anything) and letting a few applications remain running in the background, including my AV program. Mine hovered at 1-3% in those circumstances. FWIW.
Edit: I may have to retract that, as I read the device specs. Looks like Intel Dual processors. That's different, IIRC.

This is happening because the idle delay is set too low. The lower the delay the higher the cpu usage, but the more responsive the system is. If the set the idle delay high the CPU usage will drop but the GUI can become sluggish. This setting needs to be tuned to give the right results. Maybe this could be added as a configuration option so on slower or faster PCs it can be set manually.
I will email Andreas about this issue as I dont use windows. |
