BZ 1767: Incorrect credit of a save

My team was on the road and leading 5-2. My starter had just finished pitching the bottom of the 7th. Since I knew I was going to pull him for the 8th inning, before I had my first batter take a swing in the 8th, I went to the substitutions screen and put the replacement pitcher in so that I wouldn't forget. I scored two runs in the 8th, so when my new pitcher took the mound, it was not a save situation. However, he pitched the last two innings and was still credited for a save (I won the game 10-2). I checked to be sure that I didn't make a mistake and put the reliever in an inning earlier (meaning that he would have pitched 3 innings and therefore would have been correctly awarded a save).

Well, I can see what happened and why. The code solution might be to prevent you from being able to sub in a new pitcher while you are batting. I'm not sure that that's a superb idea.
