BZ 1856: Manager's Experience

I've known since at least version 8 that manger's experience years don't tally correctly. I don't know why, but I've finally got a funny situation on my hands. I have a AAA manager who is 59 with 47 years of experience. If he manages much longer, he will have started managing before he was born. Can this error be fixed?

Which version of the game are you using, please? Are you seeing this behavior for all managers in all leagues?

I am using the latest version - 9.1.6.

However, like I said, this bug has appeared since at least version 8 and has carried through to the current version. And, yes, the bug carries through all leagues at all levels.

To be precise, the hitting and pitching coaches are not affected. Scouts either. Just the managers at all levels. I have played this game on three different computers - one of them a laptop - and the bug appears on all of them. My conclusion is that it must hardware independent.

This is the second time I've posted this complaint. Thhe last time was prior to 9.1.6. Even after 9.2.2, this particular problem is still appearing.

The manager's years of experience are being tabulated incorrectly. Since I've already uploaded two separate league files, please don't ask me to do it again.

Presumably, there is something damaged with your particular files?

I have seen the same bug. My test league is created using 9.2.2.

The bug is very simple to reproduce. Sim to a certain date (like 2/20/xxxx), note the experience of all managers at that day and the sim a year. Next year (2/20/(xxxx + 1)) all managers who are still under contract have gained two years of experience.
