BZ 1855: Batter ejected, still scores a run

I'm running a historical league and just had a similar situation to one found in this closed thread:

During the 1976 Toronto Giants' 19-4 defeat of the Atlanta Braves, my starting CF, Larry Herndon, was hit by a pitch and charged the mound, triggering a bench-clearing brawl. He was ejected, as was Atlanta Braves SP Jamie Easterly.

I was then taken to the Toronto Substitutions screen, where I inserted Juan Beniquez as a pinch-runner. But when I returned to the BNN Webcast screen, Herndon was the runner on first and the play-by-play continued to refer to Herndon as the baserunner.

My SP, Ed Halicki, stroked a two-run single, and when I checked the boxscore it was Herndon, rather than Beniquez, who got credit with the run scored.

When the inning ended, Beniquez correctly showed up in centre.

I'm running 9.1.2 on a Mac (10.4.11), FWIW.
