Originator Cities file for fictional leagues....

I created the following origin file to be used with the originator. This is strictly a list of the 17,000+ unique city names in the US with 2 being the freq generator. No state id is listed. Thought it could be used by those who want a city list to create new teams or a list to put just a city by the players name in a fictional universe. This would make it so Bear Creek is as common as Chicago, also with so many cities in the file you may never have a player from New York or Chicago......

This file is edited so that no city over 19 characters is listed to avoid problems in the game and CATOBASE.....

If there is enough interest I may do a world list - or individual countries and states. Although, doing countries would also require names list for the originator.... I just did a Dutch file.... took a bit of time....will post this also.
The dutch file has locations and name files.

Also, JoeRock could you host this on their site if possible for downloads if there is an interest in the file.....thanks..

SandMan, I'm sure I've said it before, but I'll say it again: you're my hero. I've been trying to generate a file of fictional world city names and it's gone very slowly. Using this with a few modifications to include specific cities should really help out. Thanks!

I think it was one of your previous post that gave me the idea to create this file.....

Found that the file is too big for the originator. Broke it down into 5 files.

In the originator weigh the files as the following

fict1 53
fict2 48
fict3 49
fict4 48
fict5 29

Also fixed a few names that had bad characters in them....

found that some names were to long. New file still has 2790 names (last).
