Where have all the logo designers gone?

We must have burned them all out.

The last active ones were illeracula, pepeda and Cooleyvol.

I have not seen a logo produced since the server crashed.

In fact, activity seems to be way, way down on all of the OOTPB Forums.

Any idea why?

Hope we get some new designers to replace all of the fine ones that are no longer active.

It would be nice if some of the talented oldtimers came back and occasionally created a logo.

Let's hope so.

I've noticed that too. Users, not just logo designers, were frustrated with the boad crash and took some time off. But, since today is a weekend, there can't be much activity expected. I hope this board livens up again too. I need my Jacksonville logo made .

...

I am still here, but I just haven't had the time to do much of anything. I am going on a much needed vacation this weekend, and when I get back I should have some more free time to get some logo's done. Sorry...

I drop in here from time to time, but since the end of the logo designing contest I just haven't had the time to do any logos. When I do have free time I've been spending it playing OOTP, and in all I just haven't felt the creative juices flowing lately. I hope to put forward some logos sometime in the near future, but unfortunately I can't really say when.

As for me, I'm still around, but just havent had the creative time in order to create logos.

I've made a set or two for some new leagues, but just don't browse the Mods forum as much anymore.

Actually, I started creating some stadiums (5 completed), but havent even had time for that lately.

well this turned into a "Where are they now..." post...

Since the start of school Ive been busy and any time Ive had to make logos I've spent on getting the 112 logos I need for my own league done. I still have plenty of them to do and I won't be out of school until December.

Glad to hear that some our fine logo designers will still occasionally share their skill with us.

Thanks for responding...and more than that...thanks for sharing your time, talent and skill with us.

Looking forward to Cooleyvol's stadiums.

I wonder about a lot of folks who just drop off the face of the earth. FastLane comes quickly to mind. Really enjoyed his contributions. Not just here, but in the other areas as well, over the many months/years there've been a number of excellent contributors with stimulating designs and ideas that were strangely sucked into an unknown dugout. Shame. Good folks.

FastLane has some health issues he's dealing with.

Cooleyvol, thanks for letting us know about FastLane. I have often wondered what happened to him.

FastLane is one of my alltime favorite logo designers. He is as creative as I have seen and has a great sense of color and color coordination.

He is one of my favorite people, too. He was always willing to revise and alter a logo to get exactly what you wanted.

He has a wonderful sense of humor, too.

I miss him on this board.

I hope his health improves.

I will be praying for him.

Echo all those sentiments and duly added to my list.

I'm still here lurking around. I haven't been able to post much lately, let alone create any logos, due to my heavy work schedule. As things get back to some kind of normalcy here in South Louisiana, I'll be back.

I just haven't been on the OOTP forums much at all in the past year or so, give or take a few months. I still play the game, but I think the forums lost an infusion of creative talent and new posters with no new game coming out this year. Expect a sharp rise once OOTP7 or whatever it's called is released.

That and I just haven't made logos much at all. I even went so far as to actually delete my logo collection when re-formatting my computer a few months ago.

We're waiting! hahaha

Yes, I still exist. Yes, I wish Tom Benson did not.

Go join a Hornets board or something.

Well, I did just do the league logo found here.

I do want to get back into making logos more often, but I think the work I prefer to do is often too time-consuming and too detail-oriented to keep up with the number of requests which get made sometimes.

If only I could find a way to get the kind of thing I want to do done faster...

I've been very busy with school, trying to graduate before my hair goes grey.

Hopefully I will have more free time to hang out here when I enter the work force.

Please, don't let that stop you. I never make requests for my solo leagues, I just select a city, don't pick a name, and use the search function to find a logo for that city that fits my style. Somehow, I doubt I'm the only one who does that.

So, if someone else has already filled an order, just bump the thread when you get yours done. Extra options are always a plus, and barring another Great Crash, it'll always be there for us lazy talentless bums to find.

Hey, when you're eventually running your own design studio, maybe you'll be willing to hire an old graphic arts guy you used to know from the forums of some computer baseball sim...
