Banner Request For New League

I've finally decided to try and convert one of my dynasties into an online league and I was hoping to utilize the massively talented individuals in these forums to help me with the creation of a banner since I'm utterly inept. I'll attach the current images in the site banner below.

The banner comes broken in three parts but the center may be left "as is" for balance, unless your creativity tells you otherwise.

My site URL is http://geekball.allsimbaseball.com so you can see the background & layout. You may recognize the league concept if you spend your time browsing the dynasties forum.

Here's a general idea of the feel and look that I'm going for:

League Name : THE GAME DIVIDED
Subtitle: Segregation on the Diamond

Concept: Beginning in 1947, the major leagues are going to proceed as if the color barrier was never broken. No Jackie Robinson...no Willie Mays....no Hank Aaron, etc.... I'm also going to be posting "news" articles about this alternate world. Without the integration of baseball, progress will certainly slow down. eventually, I may be adding a separate league that would have existed if the Negro Leagues never dissolved.

Banner Concept: I'd like the banner to have a few pictures of actual players from the 50's, 60's and beyond. If the banner could fade from sepia tone on the left eventually developing into modern colors on the far right, that would be awesome. Perhaps the racial division aspect could be worked into the banner as well. One idea that occurred to me was some Major Leaguers on one side and a couple of Negro Leaguers on the opposite side of the banner, facing off over a virtual chasm in which the league name and subtitle would be written.

If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to ask for the "Webradian" logo to be done up in a matching logo too.

You have my eternal gratitude in advance!

Hey Metsgeek,

I'll try to do something for you. I have loads of graphics and imaging software and know how to use it but my artistic talent is just so-so. Let's try to talk on AIM Sunday morning sometime. Maybe we can fine tune my "artwork" to fit your needs.
