Logos for my OOTPBM2006 Michigan League

So I'm making this Michigan League when OOTPBM2006 comes out and I'd really like to have some custom logos. So here's my request for all *ahem* 96 of them. These are the teams I need:

Did you knowingly create two Trojans? (Lake City and Sturgis.)

Also, there are minor league teams with some of these city names (only one that popped out at me was Traverse City, who will start in 2006 as the Beach Bums with a bear as a mascot, somehow. Using those would make finding logos much easier, and could at least work in the short term.

96 teams and he only duplicated one mascot? Pretty good, IMO.

That's what I saw at first glance. On second glance, it appears Falcons is duplicated as well. And I'm not trying to call him out or anything, I'm just letting him know in case he wanted them all unique. If I tried this same thing, I know I'd inadvertently create some duplications.

I mean, if I tried coming up with 96 unique nicknames, you'd find me a week later in a corner with my eyes glazed over and drool covering my shirt. Definitely not trying to knock him.

Fortunately I found the Michigan High School Athletic Association website that gave me a nickname for all but one or two cities. There were actually only about 10-15 duplicates that I had to fudge around with. I tried not to duplicate but I guess I missed a couple. Thanks for pointing that out. Unfortunately there's no mascot art to along with any of them.

EDIT: The duplicates have now been changed.

I think that when I start a league with 96 teams, I'll look through the Logobank and steal them from there. But this is awesome if you get all 96 teams, that would be 100 more logos to get.

It would be great if the city names were left off on some of them so they could be generic

. But it's up to the logo creator obviously.

Yeah if weren't for the fact that I have a hankering for a Michigan League - that I've wanted to create for like a decade - I'd do that same thing. I've actually collected about 300-350 logos from various places but they're all of the North American variety. With 6.5 I only create teams that I already have logos for.

I usually get my teams and nicknames and then have them created here on the Logo Forum...I have gotten about a 100 fine logos that way. But those days are gone...we just don't have the designers here anymore. Only a few are active like Faroo6, Cooleyvol, illeracula and pepeda.

For OOTPBM 2006, I will need logos for 60-80 teams...I have 40 fine, customed designed, fictional logos by the best of the best here. I did not think I could get 20-40 more done, so I did what tim_wurf suggests...I went to enuttage's and illeracula's fine logo sites and pick some fictional city logos for my additional teams. You just have to be happy with the names of those teams...and they have some fine names.

You can also check out league websites and get logos from them...but only use them with their permission...see the OOTPB Online Forum and simcentral's site.

I know this method doesn't help cephasjames, but it would really help others, who will need a lot of logos for the OOTPBM 2006 with its complete and fullblown minor leagues.

Use your own discression. I just thought the Gremlins would look good with a ball. The Spartans look fine without. Hawks look good with. Do what you think looks good and 99% of the time I'll go along with it. You've proven your good work and taste in the past so I'm cool with what you choose.
