Logo Needed: Dodge City Gunslingers

I am looking to get a new logo for my team, the Dodge City Gunslingers.

My current team logo is my avatar here on the board. I took it off the internet and it's a good logo, it's just a little choppy and I'm kind of wanting a change anyway. I just can't find anything on the internet that really "feels" right. The closest I can find is crossed six-shooters but that just seems boring. I've been looking through the created logos in many posts here on the board and think they're great so I thought I'd see if anyone could help me out.

I'd like the logo to have an "Old West" or "Wild West" feel to it. (i.e. the whole cowboy thing, if you have visible guns they need to be six-shooters, etc.) Ideally, and I don't know if this is possible, maybe incorporate a silhouette of a gunfighter over an interlocking DC. You're welcome to take my current logo and use it if you can maybe sharpen it up a bit, get rid of the choppy look to it. Team colours would be red, black and white.

I greatly appreciate any and all help.

Here's the one 'Gunslinger' logo I have in my possession. Unfortunately, I don't have any editing skills, but if you think this logo would work for you, then perhaps someone can modify the text and colors.

Most excellent! I like them a lot. Would it be possible to see what the one with the red background and the transparent background w/o the nickname look with the silhouette all black?

With the black letters, the black silhouette did not look great, so I put a small red shadow to have it standout.
