My OOTP2006 Fictional Universe League 1 Logos/Uniforms needed
Let me start by saying thanks in advance for any help and that in the past I've gotten some excellent logos from you guys.
When OOTP2006 is released, I will be starting a fictional universe with leagues from all over the world. Right now I have 16 leagues that I have come up with but it may expand to over 20, I'm still in the planning stages. That being said, I'd like to get a head start on logos, uniforms and things of that nature. The first league I have completely planned is the Korean League. I haven't come up with nicknames for these teams so I thought some of you guys might find it a new challenge to be able to come up with your own nickname and logo/uniform for the teams. This is the first league of atleast 16 that I will probably be posting over the next 2 months and not all of them will need nicknames. Anyways here is the league setup, I'll edit this as it goes along, if a team is in BOLD font then I have what I need for them. Again, thanks to anyone who finds some time to help me out. Korean League North League 1. P'yongyang HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 2. Namp'o HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 3. Hamhong-Hungnam HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 4. Ch'ongjin HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 5. Kaesong HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 6. Wonsan HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula South League 1. Seoul HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 2. Busan HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 3. Inch'on HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 4. Daegu HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 5. Daejeon HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula 6. Gwangju HUGE thanks to pat and illeracula Korean League is complete, thanks a ton guys! Last edited by marc; 01-27-2006 at 06:35 PM. |

Name Ideas
Like 'em, use 'em, throw 'em away your choice, but here are some things I found:
South League 6. Gwangju Suns or Gwangju Lights: http://eng.gjcity.net/e_about/e_abou...5_01_01_02.jsp The symbol of Gwangju takes the form of the sun and humans, the source of light and life, representing the aspiration for the world and the future, as well as the pioneering spirit of Gwangju, which literally means "village of light," or Bitgoeul. The circular shape represents the sun while the delightful curves symbolize the free human spirit. 5. Daejeon Xpress http://www.metro.daejeon.kr/english/...y/history2.jsp In January of 1914, Daejeon became a boom town with the opening of the Honam Railway. In October 1, 1917, the Governor-General designated Daejeon-myeon as one of "special myeons", the offices of which were subject to be governed by the Japanese officials. 4. Daegu Eagles http://english.daegu.go.kr/AboutDaeg...on/outline.asp City Symbols: Bird: Eagle 3. Inch'on Royals http://english.incheon.go.kr/ The region had a close tie to Goryeo’s royal house over seven successive reigns, garnering the nickname ‘Childaeeohyang’ (meaning literally ‘seven-generation royal homestead’). 2. Busan Ports http://english.busan.go.kr/busan/02_01.jsp Busan is the second largest city in Korea. Its deep harbor and gentle tides have allowed it to grow into the largest container handling port in the country and the third largest in the world, with potential for even more growth. Its natural endowments and rich history have resulted in Busan's increasing reputation as a world class city of tourism and culture. 1. Seoul Tigers or Seoul Wangbeomi http://english.seoul.go.kr/gover/symbol/sym_05Mas.htm Designed using natural brush strokes, the cuddly mascot tiger Wangbeomi was born in February 19, 1998. It represents citizens of Seoul with a strong spirit, open mind, lofty ideal, and light heart. Taking its image from a tiger character in Korean folktales, the mascot is also a good match for the city's official emblem. "Wangbeomi" is a compound noun made up of "wang" (king, chief, head, or very big), "beom" (tiger), and "-i" (a noun-derivational suffix). The big-eyed tiger's name best befits the image of Seoul, a global city as well as the capital and the largest city in Korea. Enough Korean history for, time to get back to work, hope this helps a bit... Cheers!

Names for the North...
Okay, so I lied and did some North research as well...can you tell its Friday aftenroon and I really don't feel like working??
1. P'yongyang Willows or P'yongyang Bombers (for obvious reasons) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyongyang One of its many historic names is Ryugyŏng (류경; 柳京), or "capital of willows", as willow trees have always been numerous throughout the city's history, and many poems written about these willows. Even today, Pyongyang has numerous willow trees planted everywhere, and many buildings and places are named with "Ryugyŏng", the most notable of all being its uncompleted Ryugyong Hotel. Its other historic names include Kisŏng, Hwangsŏng, Rangrang, Sŏgyŏng, Sŏdo, Hogyŏng, Changan, etc. 2. Namp'o Ports or Namp'o Harbors or Namp'o Shipbuilders http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nampo Namp'o is situated some 50 kilometres south west of P'yŏngyang, at the mouth of the Taedong River. It is a modern port city on the west coast. It began to develop into a modern port after liberation in 1945. With the rapid increase in state investment, the city's industries grew and it now has powerful heavy industries and modern light industries. They include the Namp'o Smelter Complex, the Namp'o Glass Corporation, the Namp'o Shipbuilding Complex, the Namp'o Fishery Complex and other central and local factories. 3. Hamhong-Hungnam Dunkirks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungnam The port at Hungnam was the site of a major evacuation of both U.N. military and North Korean civilians during the Korean war in late December 1950. Approximately 100,000 troops and material and 100,000 civilians were loaded onto a variety of merchant ships and military transports over the weeks leading up to Christmas 1950, and were transported to safety in Pusan and other destinations in South Korea. This operation has been referred to as the Dunkirk of the Korean War. 4. Ch'ongjin Steelers http://www.encyclopedia.com/html/C/Chongjin.asp CHONGJIN [Chongjin] or Chungjin , Jap. Seishin, city (1993 pop. 582,480), NE North Korea, an ice-free port on the Sea of Japan. It was developed in the 1930s by the Japanese as an iron and steel center. The city has metallurgical plants, chemical factories, and fish canneries, and also produces ships, machinery, and textiles. 5. Kaesong Shockers or Kaesong Kings http://www.encyclopedia.com/html/K/Kaesong.asp KAESONG [Kaesong] or Kaisong , Jap. Kaijo, city (1993 pop. 334,433), S North Korea. A long-time commercial center, it is important for its exports of ginseng, a valuable medicinal root. There is also active trade in rice, barley, and wheat. Textiles are made in the city, there is some heavy industry, and special economic zone has been established where South Korean firms manufacture products for export. Historic landmarks include the tombs of several Korean kings, the old city walls, and the remains of a royal palace from the Koryo period. 6. Wonsan Oilers http://www.encyclopedia.com/html/W/Wonsan.asp WONSAN [Wonsan] , Jap. Gensan, city (1993 pop. 300,148), capital of Kangwon prov., SE North Korea, on the Sea of Japan. It is a major port and naval base, with a natural harbor protected by a line of islands. The city has important fish and fish-processing industries. Oil refining, rice processing, and the manufacture of locomotives, textiles, ships, chemicals, and leather goods are also important. Opened to foreign trade in 1883, Wonsan became a Japanese naval base in World War II. It suffered heavy damage during the Korean War. For some reason its hard to find information on N. Korea...I wonder why, jk. Thats the best I can do. Hope it helps.

Is this the kind of uniform you're looking for?
If you want the name of the team on the body without the logo, let me know. Gwangju Suns:
