A Small Banner Request

Hello arteeests,

I'm re-designing the site for the WHBL (see current site), and am looking for a small banner that will match the layout I'm using.

I'd like it to be 500x60 pixels, or so. You can cheat it a little bigger if you think it will look better.

And it should NOT say WHBL or Western Hemisphere Baseball League on it anywere. That'll be integrated into the CMS.

The only other requirement is that on the left-hand border, the color should be 336699.

It'd be nice if the rest of the colors complemented or matched that color as well.

I'm up for anything beyond that.

Take a peek at the link to see what kind of league we are (for those lazy folks, were based in the Western Hemisphere, supporting teams from Calgary in the north down to Buenos Aires in the south).

A special thanks to dbacks for our current, long-running banner.

And TIA for any help anyone can offer in this regard.

Hey E....

I looked at the banner because I used to be in the league long ago....I don't know....I think the banner that you have right now is absolutely perfect. I don't know how I could make it any better. Do you want it, maybe, with the same elements...just without the league name on it?

Y'know what, that sounds pretty damn good.

I appreciate any help you can dish out. I'm more concerned about it blending in with the rest of the header.

Ok....here's what I came up with. The guys on each side are negatives of the guys on your present banner and I hope I got the color close. Let me know if you want it anyway different and I'll sure try to help you out.

Glad you liked it E. The color looks like it matched up well. 336699 ended up meaning nothing to my ol' program, but it sure ended up pretty darn close.
