Santa Cruz Dancing Bananas Done! Thanks pat!
Santa Cruz, California is the home of the UC-Santa Cruz Banana Slugs. An extremely liberal community even by California standards, a wealthy industrialist in the piercing manufacturing business bought into the league and named the team the Dancing Bananas as homage to the university and the uniqueness of the city. I'd prefer the dancing banana emoticon to be used in the logo if it's workable.

Yellow is obviously the main colour.

Princeton Dreamers Done! Thanks pat!
F. Scott Fitzgerald. John Nash. These are just two of the geniuses that are associated with Nassau Hall and in the spirit of that vein, a consortium of successful Princeton graduates has banded together to purchase a team in Princeton, calling them the Dreamers. For this one, I don't want a picture of person involved at all, but rather, I'd like to see the logo incoporate an image that conveys the concept of what a dreamer is to you. Colours are complete open on this one.

Hartford Whalers Done! Thanks pat and truthserum!
At the particular time of the league's inception, the Hartford Whalers are still playing in the NHL and the ownership group of the new franchise have agreed to pay the hockey team an undisclosed sum of money to purchase the team name. I'm not sure how realistic this is from a historical standpoint, but I miss the Whalers and it's my universe, so I'll do what I like.

Colours are blue and green as reflective of the source team name.

The Hawaii Islanders ended their minor-league status in 1988, but in my particular universe, they folded in 1974 after funding for the new Aloha Stadium failed (though in real-life it did get built). Though the precise year the league is starting in hasn't been pinned down, the Honolulu Monarchs is incorporated by much of the old Hawaii Islanders ownership, some years later, and has the backing of the city this go-round. The team name pays homage to Hawaii's status as a kingdom well into the 20th century. I'd like the colours to be bright, festive, and varied, reflective of Hawaii's tropical climate.

Racine Vikings Done! Thanks, pat!
The city of Racine has strong Danish and German communities and the precedent of having a strong warrior team name in place was already present in the minor-league football team, the Racine Gladiators (later Raiders). The success of the Gladitors at the national level resulted in the owners of that team buying a baseball franchise as well and after a citywide vote, Vikings was the winner for the name. Colours will preferably be either red and white or black or blue.

Louisville Blue Grass Done! Thanks, rocknfire7!
Kentucky is the bluegrass state, famed also for the Kentucky Derby. A horseracing magnate has purchased the rights to a franchise and given it the unique name of the Blue Grass to reflect the former. Colours are open to interpretation, though I'm thinking blue should be part of it.

One question though, would it be possible to move the banana over slightly to the left so that his hat is in between the letters rather than covering up the C in Cruz a little bit like it is now?

Beautifully done, pat, though I have the following small suggestions:

Hartford's logo doesn't seem to really fit with the rest of the set, so maybe you could try the Whalers' NHL logo?

or maybe a cartoon whale:

Like the colours of the Monarchs logo but I was wondering if it'd be possible to maybe incorporate this, which is more the traditional Hawaiian kings' appearnce:

Also, in the logos with black edges, on the large screens, I noticed there's little flecks of white on the edge of the circle. Is that just part and parcel of the game's treatment of black? If so that's cool, just thought I'd mention it.

Love the logos, pat and truthserum!

I'll use both Whalers logos at some point, I'm sure, and the change to the Monarchs logo is perfect, pat! And yes, I think the white flecks I'm seeing is probably caused by true black forming the outer ring of the logos, pat.

I'll load these logos in game and see if the true black thing is showing in any of them.

Oh, one small suggestion on the second Hartford logo, pat. Maybe try seeing how it looks with a plain white background as opposed to the baseball? Might make the whale stand out more
