Hey thanks to WrightWing and knuckler for the help.
I will check the site and xenimus' photopack. Special thanks to knuckler for taking the time to post them. You provided everyone I needed for the second season. I am adding Japanese stars to my Alltime Allstar Association. I only needed a few of them for this season: Kazuhisa Inao (thanks to knuckler) Hiromitsu Ochiai (ditto) Katsuya Nomura (ditto) Shigeo Nagashima (ditto) Jiro Noguchi (ditto) Masaichi Kaneda (ditto) Sadaharu Oh (ditto) You guys here are great. Thanks. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-11-2006 at 09:57 PM. |

What?! No love for the NPB single season strikeout record holder, Yutaka Enatsu? He was an interesting player in the Eckersley and Smoltz mold with the NPB single season k record of 401K in 329IP and the record 9 consecutive K's in an all-star game. Overall carreer stats are:

p.s. IMO, the only way to do a Sadaharu Oh picture is to include his unique batting stance. Here are two relative good ones that I found.

Enatsu will be added one day.
I just went by Jim Albright's assessment of the Japanese greats. He has a great site: The Baseball Guru. http://baseballguru.com/jalbright/an...lbright01.html Enatsu was rated 53rd on the list. I just took his top 16 picks. But he may be better than that. He seems to be better. 401 K's in 329 IP is impressive in any league. Thanks for the photos. I will use them if I can't get a full face view. Thanks again for helping me out. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-12-2006 at 05:40 PM. |
