I would tell you, if I saw a way to improve your work, because I know you appreciate constructive suggestions and do not get offended. I just haven't seen where your logos needed any improvement lately. They are always very well done. Spend most of my time an OOTPB project and a little time on my Alltime Allstar Association League. I may need some new logos for my OOTPB2006 leagues. Hope you can do some of them. I will post them here when I decide the names of the new teams. It is great to see you back here. Taking everything into consideration, you just might be the best logo designer we have ever had here on the Logos Forum. You have been doing logos for almost 3 years now...and only recently took a vacation from the Forum for a few months. Other than that you have been here constantly doing fine logos. You are quick...you check the forum often...you do revisions...you are very talented...you are very creative...you have a good eye for color coordination and font selection...your logos are always clear, simple and uncluttered...they show up well in the game...they don't get spotty or splotchy...and you are a very nice person as well. I think your alternate MLB logo series is my alltime favorite set of logos...bordering on great. There may be a few others that are more talented than you, but taking all of the above into consideration, I would rank you at the top of "my" list. illeracula would be a very close second...lately Faroo6 would be right up there with both of you (for a while he "was" the Logo Forum...about the only designer we had...I hope he hasn't burned himself out) ...pepeda would be another fine one, too. pepeda is not as active as he used to be...otherwise he would be right at the very top of "my" list, too. pepeda is the absolute best when it comes to banners. There have been many other fine logo designers, but they haven't stayed around like you, pepeda and illeracula. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-29-2006 at 03:42 AM. |

I can see where the all-time franchise is keeping you busy, and I love reading about it, but know that you are missed and how valuable you have been. Thanks for the kind words as always.

Here is Gettysburg. I might still tweak this down the road, but for now, I want to post it and move on to the other teams unless of course anyone has any suggestions or comments.

This is what I came up with for York. I modeled it after this hat I found on the net for the York White Roses. It kind of makes sense to use the old english font, but I still may try to find a good rose logo to use. Don't hesitate to ask for any changes.

Too bright? I don't want to keep using the same color combos over and over again. If you guys have an suggestions, by all means I would like to hear them.

State College is a masterpiece, Knuck! I personally like the color scheme. Keep up the good work!

The second Johnstown logo is sweet, and the State College colors really pop. I give it mad props just like dcpcarmona does.
Nice work, Knuckler!

First rate throughout knuckler. As Eugene mentioned earlier, your work is sharp, clean and uncluttered. Trying to make that all work in a small 150x150 box is not easy. I particularly like the Lancaster ones. I also like the first 'Johnnies' logo as the ring text shows up a little clearer than the second one IMO.

The following still need to be done:
Bethlehem Steelers Lewisburg Profs (short for Professors) Reading Coal Heavers Altoona Mountaineers I was hoping you guys could help come up with ideas for these last four that would fit into the 1960s motif. |
