I don't want to impose any previously made logos on anyone, but if any of these logos appeal to you, then perhaps one of our resident logo wizards can modify them to suit your needs.

Here is the thread where I posted the original logo that Faroo6 modified. You may want to send Faroo6 a PM to see if he would be willing to make any modifications for you. I see that he currently on the boards. If I had a better handle on logo design, I would take a crack at it myself.

Knuckler nailed it, but I thought I would give it a try anyway for practice.
I'm not happy with the loss of background quality, but I could only save it as a jpg in order to add layers (for the text). If I saved it as a psd or eps file, it wouldn't give me the option to add any layers. I'm also not sure how to go about saving it as 150x150 properly. Right now, I saved it as 144x150 using paint to crop it. Edit - You Said Wichita, didn't you? I have Tulsa. Oops.

Here's a second take, based on knuckler's template.
Edit - Text isn't as sharp as it could be. Try it with coloured text one more time. Last edited by reds1; 04-22-2008 at 01:45 PM. |

I think it looks pretty solid. I liked it a little bit better with the white outlined in black though as it stood out a bit more. Just a personal preference though. It looks good man.

Ok, final kick at the cat before I move on.
Made the text simpler as per knuckler's suggestion but added a dropped background to the text. Last edited by reds1; 04-22-2008 at 01:45 PM. |
