CubbyFan23's 2006 Opening Day Rosters (v2) RELEASED! -- Link Inside!

I must admit, I've never been happier with one of my sets. The numbers that these are producing are pretty much picture perfect to what I can imagine they should look like. HRs, average, strikeouts, steals, saves, etc. all look great.

Here's what will probably be my last release of my roster set for OOTP6(.5). I do plan on delving into the world of roster sets when the new OOTP comes out, but I'll just be tweaking this one and doing roster changes, no big changes in the future for this set.

Included in this set is the '06 draft class, including guys which will be in this year's draft in June, as well as up to date rosters as of today (3/30). They are playing out VERY well with the new league totals, and give a very realistic play.

Also included is the 2006 MLB schedule, which I got from Nerdyguy27 (AIM). I honestly cannot remember what his handle is here, and he got them from someone else, so I really appreciate both him sending them to me, as well as whoever put them together for saving me a LOT of time and energy here at the end.

Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help, and everyone who is trying these out. I really do enjoy putting them together, as they help me get geared up for the season, and have enjoyed these just as much as I did last year.

Below is both the link for the file, as well as a zip file containing pictures of most of the players included in the 06 draft.

A few suggestions, I would suggest keeping the league totals intact unless stats start to get way out of whack down the line. In early testing, they hold up very well while I've been going multiple seasons in the future. If you need to, turn the base stealing tendencies down to "not often" in the era editor, to reduce steals (I did this and got much more realistic numbers across the board).

Download this zip file, and you will have to manually create the .lg folder inside of your OOTP directory. OOTP reads the folder as the actual league. So simply create a folder inside your main OOTP directory titled whatever you want the name of your league to be (ie. MLB.lg) and then put these files INTO that folder.

First off.... great rosters.

Was this roster set designed using 6.5?

The reason why I ask is that I thought I read before that the ratings (and simmed stats) do not work exactly the same between 6.12 and 6.5

Any info would be helpful.

It was, but I'm not sure that they change between 6.5 and 6.12... when I get back from golfing this afternoon I'll give it a once over.

Need help Guys!!
When I get to the end of a game right before it gives you the box score the game kicks me out and when I go back into the game it has the box score but will not update? (only happens when you play the game not when you simulate a game)
what did I do wrong I put all the files from CubbyFans23' 2006 opening Day Rosters in a folder name the folder 2006.lg and I put photos and logos folders in it, thats it.
Am I missing something?

Sure sounds like you're playing with the sound on. If that is the case, turn it off.
