Through reading on this board and from personal experience, I know that the color black does not seem to show up well in Ootp.

I am not an artist or graphic designer by any means, so pardon my ignorance, but here is my question...

Is there a way I can change the background of an image if the background is black? (So that it will show up better in Ootp.) Thanks for contributing to my knowledge!

Black doesnt show up at all; its the transparent variable in OOTP.

In PSP, you can 'color exchange' to do what you hope to do.

Black will show up, it just can't be "true" black, i.e. o,o,o on the RGB scale. There are different workarounds to this such as adjusting the brightness.
