Bases Loaded Roster Project for OOTP2006

Any other lifelong devotees to Jaleco's NES/SNES Bases Loaded series here? This series was so good, especially the vastly underrated Bases Loaded II...I'm surprised this series does not have more of a cult presence on the internet...

Wes of High Heat Baseball community fame (the Clubhouse) did a few fictional roster sets featuring the teams from these games for HH2001, and I'd like to work on one for OOTP.

Have any of the details on the OOTP Player Editor been released yet? I'm building some spreadsheets to convert ratings and was wondering if roster makers have any idea of what all the categories are...I can figure out a decent amount from the screenshots released, but not all..

Anyway, the structure of this roster set would be 2 leagues, 6 teams in a league, the classic teams from the first two games: Boston, New York, D.C., Philly, Jersey and Miami in the Eastern League and Kansas, Omaha, Hawaii, Texas, L.A. and Utah in the Western League.

The Hall of Fame/record books would feature top players from Bases Loaded (such as Paste with his .467 avg and 60 HR)

The Major League level would be players from Bases Loaded II (the game included AVG, HRs, and speed ratings, and even included birthdays so there is a nice dispersal of talent/age progression across the league.

Bases Loaded III, IV, Super Bases Loaded 1 & 2's rosters would comprise the Triple A, Double A, High A and Low A levels.

Looking forward to it.

Heck that brings back some memories...

Me and my bro played Bases Loaded vs eachother all the time. I cant remember which teams we chose but I remember always pitching Gantos? he was on the black jersey team and he'd always kill me with Ohno? he was the power hitter on the red team. It's been a long time but I always get the same feeling I got then when David Ortiz steps to the plate against the Yanks.

Wow!! Bases Loaded sure does bring back some good memories. Paste... now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time.

Me and a buddy of mine one weekend created schedules for all of the teams. ( I think 2 game series versus all of the teams then proceeded to play games from 6:00pm that night until 7:00am the next morning. We didn't even notice it was morning until my little brother came upstairs and asked if we were still up

We kept stats on pitchers wins, and ERA, and batters AVG and homers ( very basic stuff). Anyway we played about half of the season in 13 hours or so, slept all day, and after that we never played the game again. We literally burned out.

Anyway I will be looking forward to this roster set. Sounds really cool!!

Behold the following absurdity:
"It is four years down the road, but I doubt a far-winger from either side could actually secure the WH. Moderates generally win. Obama is definitely a moderate . He had wide appeal, and still does."
