If you have a graphics program, you can do it relatively easy. But, I don't mind doing it. I can get to it tonight and post them for you.

I might have a program, but then again I might not. It might be best to be safe rather than sorry in this case and just have you do it if you don't mind.
Thanks a TON! Do you need anything, say free advertising to your thriving non-profit logo-making industry? first born child maybe? anything? I owe you one for sure.

Hey knuckler, thanks for the smaller logos....I actually am using the red with black lettering Akron logo. And I'm using the 2nd of two Indian logos, white lettering, with the Indian chief on the front.

I am having a bit of a block on these last two. I'm assuming that you had a railroad theme in mind fo Zanesville, but am not 100 percent sure if that what you meant. I've also been searching for Michigan capital images that could be used and fit the theme but so far haven't come up with anything usable. If you had ideas on which direction to go with these, let me know.

For the Capitals, there's always the option of showing the capital-looking building, kind of like the Washington Capitals logo, but not as flashy for me, more traditional look. For the Engineers, you could actually do some sort of a bridge, Zanesville is known for the only 'Y' bridge in America, so that's why I named them the Engineers. Or you could use scripting for either, like "Engineers" or "Capitals" across the circle (something like what you did for Johnstown in the Keystone), or just the old standby of an 'L' or 'Z'. I'll let you know if I can come up with anything else. Anybody that's reading have any ideas?

I wanted to do a capitol building for Michigan, but I just haven't been able to find any good logo-type images for the Michigan one. There are some of the National one though, but they don't really look all that similar.

And for the state capitol building, pictures would be somewhat hard to come by, other than real pictures, there are some real nice ones I found on google when I searched "Michigan State Capitol"
http://council.legislature.mi.gov/capitol_tours.html The picture on the right at this webpage isn't too bad if you could get rid of the picture of the state behind it. |

I'm not really satisfied with these, but I figure I will post them anyways. I don't want to close out on a bad note, so let me know what I can do to make them better. I can see what I can do with the two you linked. The budget and management one is pretty good, but it might be too small to work with.

Thanks for the updates knuckler. I think the first Lansing one will work, the second is definitely too busy. As for the Zanesville, it looks good, although, I think I'd like a color change. Already have two orange and black teams in Kzoo and Columbus. I was thinking maybe a gray/silver team would work, maybe scarlet and gray (giving a nod to O$U). I like the first of the two zanesville designs better, with the black/gray as the horizontal lines and the filled-in portion of the letter, and scarlet as the border.....I just realized the Lansing is MSU colors as well, cool cool.
Thanks again knuckler, I really do appreciate all the effort....Also, don't forget the color specs and the mini-logos. Thanks! |
