Logo request ... sorry, I previously posted this in the wrong place

Hi everyone -

I am a first time poster, long time reader of the site. Hopefully someone can help me out ... I am putting together a Connecticut solo fictional league for 6.51 and I am looking for a logo. My team name is the New Haven Elm Cities, which was taken from the city's 1875 National Association team. I have been looking with admiration at some of the great circular logos and I was hoping that someone might be willing to do one for me. I am not particular. My only request, if someone is willing to do one for me, is that it have a retro feel. Thanks for your help and, to all the people doing logos, keep up the good work. They are great!

Have you had a response to your request? If not, I will attempt something this week.

Spelvin, here's an idea for the New Haven Elm Cities ... I've kept it simple in that it's letters/words and a baseball bat in order to give it a retro-feel ... no dramatic graphics ... I chose the colours of green and yellow for contrast (and the green for the 'elm' part).

I know you wanted a circular logo and I will do that, but this is just a start.

I noticed a flaw in the lettering of "Elm Cities" in the first post of the circular logo ... this version is fixed.

Wow ... I have to thank you. That logo gives off exactly the kind of vibe I was looking for! The colors are a great fit (happened to be the ones from my old high school) and the bat is a nice touch. Great work! I really appreciate it!
