Real player ratings database?

Is there a site which has the ratings for real-life players listed?

I'm asking because I'd like to bring certain individual players from the sport's history into my fictional league. So is there a place that lists the players ratings so that I can create them in my league?

You can import specific players directly from a database such as Lahman.
