Intercounty League Logos
I searched the board looking to see if any logos had been done up for this independent amateur league in Southern Ontario and couldn't find any. So I did some up and thought I post them here in case anyone else can make use of them.

Editing Logo
This question is directed to REDS1:
I really liked your Panthers logo but I wanted to remove the Kitchener text so I imported the graphic into Corel Photo-Paint and air-brushed it black. It looked great but when I imported it into OOTP6 the portion I air-brushed black showed up white as if it had been erased rather than repainted. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm newb to graphics editing/creating without much of a clue as to what I'm doing. The other day I picked up a used copy of Corel Photo-Paint and have been messing with it without a great deal of success. Since the software didn't come with a manual, much of it's a mystery at this point. Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this thread, I just saw an opportunity to plead for help. My apologies to the thread owner. Mark Mark Last edited by marklaker; 11-25-2006 at 02:01 PM. No problem Mark. Feel free to use these logos as you see fit. I've never tried Corel Photo-Paint, only Photoshop. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the 'black' you are using is 'pure black' - one with a RGB number of 000000. If the resulting image is saved in .bmp format and used for OOTP6.5 or earlier OOTP versions, it will show up as transparent. The black in the Panthers logo has a RGB number of 010101.
Here is a modifed Panther logo without the Kitchener wording as well as the original image just in case you can use it. Last edited by reds1; 04-22-2008 at 01:54 PM. |

Thanks REDS1, that was the trick. Once I selected other than pure black it looked fine. Thanks for the revised logo and thanks for the advice! Brace yourself, there will be more "newb" questions coming your way.
