BOSI v2 Import Data function broken

My server has updated php to 5.2.5 and mysql to 5.0.51a-community with the result that the import function falls down.

The Import All Tables process hangs on the Import Player Info,
using the individual import routines most still work but the following fail with just a blank screen and no error message

Import Player Info and Bat/Pitch Ratings
Import Bat and Pitch Stats
Import Batting Situational Stats
Import Pitching Situational Stats

register_globals and register_long_arrays are both set as on in the server php config, so that is not the problem.


Anybody else had the same problem and found a solution?
