Historical Info
Here's some more information for historical players looking for accuracy. I made this a few years ago when OOTP2 came out.
Baseball Chrono Just click on the tabs along the bottom for different decades/eras

Hey Scott: Glad you like it..........if you would like a copy of the spreadsheet, give me an email addy and I'll send it to you.
Had to be HHASL........was never in BCB (well, for 2 weeks and had to leave due to work). You still playing HH? I've been into OOTP since version 2, hooked since 3. Awesome web site and league you have too.......

I mentioned this in the General Discussions area as well, but if it gets lost there with the high post rate I thought I'd mention it here too.
Bruce's site is great, but if there's room it can have some additional stadium data incorporated into it. I made a complete list of ALL the alternate stadiums used by various teams and when in the season a team switched stadiums, including dates and numbers of games played. It can be found at this link: http://www.400softwarestudios.com/bo...threadid=26504 Depending on just how detail oriented someone is, it might be of some interest.

Once I've updated the file with the Stadium info, I'll put it up for download and post a link. Should be ready by the end of the week no problem.
Just want to update a few more things on it, as schedules were a little different back in the early 1900's as far as amount of games played goes.

Bruce, if you have any schedule questions at all, just ask me. I am literally the resident schedule expert. And I have the files and posts to prove it.
![]() Quick rundown on some of the early years: 1893-1897: 132 games 1898-1899: 154 games 1900-1903: 140 games 1904-1918: 154 games ........1919: 140 games 1920-1960: 154 games NOTE: The 1918 season was originally scheduled to be 154 games per team, but due to the U.S. entry into WWI and the war draft requirements, MLB cut the season short, ending play on Monday, Sept. 2nd. The average number of games actually played by each team was approximately 127 games. I'll also have to provide more detailed info on the Cleveland Indians from 1936-1946, but there is some inconsistencies in some of the sources as to how often the team split games between League Park and Cleveland Stadium; also, there is some variability from year to year as well. But the general rule mentioned in the link is correct.
