1901 facepack nearly complete - need someone to host it.

My 1901 set will be done in the next couple of days. It will contain mostly high quality images of over 200 players from the 1901 season.

I need someone to host it and am also wondering if you want it in jpg format with the converting instructions like my other facepacks or in bmp format. BMP format will be close to 10mb in size while jpeg is usually about 1.5.

If you want to host it send me a private message with the format you want and upload instructions to place it at your site.

Here is a sample of the quality. The player below is Billy Gilbert who played for Milwaukee in 1901.

Are you using all real photos or are some of them the baseball card type pictures ?

Virtually all are real photos. I only used the baseball card photos for a half dozen or so that I could not find real photos for. I was really amazed at the quality of most of these photos I found as well.

Thanks Warren and Dargone. I will let you know as soon as they are done. I have 14 of the 16 teams complete so far.

As for the 80's I likely wont as I prefer older era play myself plus at least one other is working on it now.

Facepack is complete and contains 249 photos of players active in 1901. I am uploading it to BBSC right now and anyone else who wants to host it feel free to send me a PM with upload instructions.

It is 9 mb as I have saved all photos in bmp format so there is no need to convert from jpg.

If they are all the quality of the sample above.....all I can say is WOW...

I tried to find old photos that would go with your other sets, seeing as I use them as well, but all I could find were mostly the baseball card pictures....a few photos of the HOFers and other notable characters of the time, but it was frustrating. I was only able to find 40% of the players I was looking for and of those they were of different style, some cards, some pictures.
