Question on Ballparks

I'm trying to add ballparks to an existing league. I've got the files, but all the teams are set to the default park. I can change mine no problem, but when I go to the other team pages, I'm not allowed to change theirs. Is there something somewhere that will allow me to control all of the teams to change them? Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks in advance.

Are you in Manager Mode?

You can't change the other teams in Manager Mode. You have to exit manager mode (retire) to do it. Or, you could take the long way around.

Create a league with the same configuration of teams you have, not in manager mode. Exit OOTP. Copy all the team files (I believe there are 3) and the players.dat file (not sure if this is necessary, but I would do it) from the league you want to use to the new league. Load up OOTP and the new league. It should have the teams and players from your league you want to use. Make any changes you want, then copy the files back into your league you want to use.

You might want to back everything up before trying this, just in case.

Ugh what a pain. guess I'll just change the teams as I go. Seems pretty silly not to be able to change them, at least at the startup of the league.

Steve Kuffrey posted a "warning" thread in which he said you should make any changes to the league you want before entering manager mode. I agree that there should be more you can change, such as home ballparks, in manager mode.
