League skin
This is kind of specialized, but thought I would put it on to show how skins can be made for indivdual leagues. The black NML background matches the league web site and makes it easier to see somethings.

Actually the league skins make more sense than the team skins
Come to think of it, you want to create one for the NABC (North American Baseball Confederacy) ??? see below for the website ![]() Henry |

Kind of what I thought
My thinking was the same, unless every owner in a league had a special skin for his team, it really makes more season for the league to have a skin. I will take a look at NABC and see if I can come up with something.

hey, is it possible to have a certain skin for each team. That would be awesome like if you went to the Yankees roster page and it had a Yankees skin and then you went to the Mariners roster page and it had a Mariners skin. And than the front page of the league would have it's own generic skin. Maybe that would be a good addition in a later update.

two answers
Yes I can zip it and put it on the NML league web site, I planned on making it available for all the league owners anyway. One thing two of the items, the smalllogo and the default, are not found in the skin folder they are in the graphics folder. It is a pain since you have to change those files as well as the skin.
Henry below is my first try for the NABC, what do you think.

nmleague - cool !! Got a couple ideas, if their too hard, just let me know
The blue area along the top - could it be dark like the color on the website? ...and could the background be either (1) a dark maroon, or 2) a transparent image of the league logo?LOL.. it's amazing the ideas that start to pop up when you see one idea. I know when I started with the fictional ballparks, I really did feel each one I did was better than the last ![]() Thanks for your time and effort nnleague !! ![]() Henry |

two new versions
I played around with your ideas and came up with the two below, the one with your league logo as the back ground was an accident, but hey.

excellent work!
, is there a special program to create your own skin, or do you have to change a file (like stylesheets in html)?

First off, SWEET JOB!
Secondly, while I really like your first photo (NML league), I'm also a big fan of the last NABC skin...I'm an owner in that league...is there any chance I can get that skin? I'll PM you my email. Thanks!

First answer, I'm using Paint Shop Pro to do the skins. Steve did a basic instruction thread of how to create the SKN folder. I use PSP to change the colors etc of the graphic files. The NML logo and the backgbround replace the smalllogo file and default file in the OOTP5 grpahics folder. I have not fooled around with changing tex colors, but some others have and I think they gave some info in other threads.
I will post both the NML and NABC skins on the NML web site at: http://www.nmleague.com/index1.html friday at the earliest. The NML skn is pretty much complete, maybe alittle more fine tuning, the NABC has really just started, at some point I will send the skn folder to Henry to try. Then make changes and post it on the web site.

Henry you email
Henry what is your email address. I zip up the skn folder and send it to you along with the smallogo and default files that need to go into the graphic folder (remember to rename the originals).
You can load it to the game and see how the screens look, I check out a few and it looked good. There are still a number of things that i have not figured out how to change, but will try to get it to where you want it.

Skins set for download
I have posted the NML and NABC skins on the NML league web site, not far below the top. Just click on the link and the zip file should download. Once downloaded unzip the file to the OOTP5 graphics folder, then copy the logosmall and default files to the graphics folder, but before you do this you must either rename the current logosmall and default file or move them somewhere else for safe keeping.
Once the above is done just go into the game set up and choose the new skin either NML skin or NABC skin. They should work, I hope. If you have any suggestions or problems leg me know. Almost forgot the url is http://www.nmleague.com/index1.html
