Can anyone do this?
I'm looking for a program that will allow me to dump specific boxscores in a folder and parse them outputting stat totals in text or html. I'd like to use this program for tracking stats in specific playoff series(World Series, LCS, etc) as the game keeps track of playoff stats as a whole. I'd also like to be able to toss all all-star game boxscores in there and get a stat history on that. Or maybe a guy gets a 50 game hit streak and I want to know what his stats were from those 50 games, I could put all 50 boxscores in there and get that info. Anyway, I'm not sure how much work this would be but I was wondering if any of you with programing knowledge could whip up something like that.

The Wallman utility would parse boxscores, so you may want to locate that if you can. It sounds like it will do exactly what you want it to. Of course, you would have to somehow separate that aspect of the utility from the rest of it if that was your only use for it.
