Finance Extension for OOTP5
Just an idea
Create an extension of the OOTP finance. ie: Pay your salary as an owner Pay share dividend to share holder Put cash at the bank to make a small % Do a loan to be able to have more cash at the beginning of the season (with monthly payment) Put cash in share and try to have a greater % or maybe loss money Pay state taxes for the stadium Pay other salaries Stadium maintenance etc... I'm trying to find ideas from your feedback thanks |

Ok, I'll repost mine here too
![]() I like this. I can put a higher priority on my "stadium builder" mod for BOSI. I am going to allow the commish to set prices for different modifications to a stadium as well as how to price up a new stadium. If they are taking out a loan for this new stadium, or stadium upgrade, I could export that figure to your tool which could work up the interest payments and scheduled payments (new stadiums in the TLB generally cost the team about $70m, and they can spread that over 5 years) which could then feed back to BOSI As long as our programs play nice together, we could tie anything you make into BOSI to make life easier for on-line leagues, while still supporting the solo player with your utilities.

But the idea doenst seems to be popular. ![]() I was thinking to use DBase or Paradox database, is it something good for you? Last edited by PLG; 04-11-2003 at 04:29 PM. |

We'd probably have to "talk" via CSV files.

I like some of the ideas, specifically:
-ability to borrow to add to cash flow, with terms to repay of course - stadium rebuilding loans - modified from your list: how about stadium wear and tear factor? This would grow over time unless you a)renovate periodically or b) build new stadium. Could be tied into the maintanence cost you have on your list. Cost would increase over time.
