A note on Importing and Exporting Ballparks
I've found that the import/export function in OOTP's edit ballpark screen works a little differently than the prompts suggest. The exported stadium file does NOT go into the league's EXPIMP folder by default. It goes into the league's main folder. You then need to copy this stadium file and paste it in the main folder of the league you wish to export it to. (not the EXPIMP here, either - the import function's default view is the league folder as well) Simply typing in the name of the file you pasted when the window prompts for it will then import it. No need to fool around with paths in and out of the EXPIMP folder.
With that in mind, the best way to use single ballparks from the stadium mods that provide complete Park and Parkconfig files would be to set up a dummy league of the new stadiums and then just import the ones you want into your other leagues using the above procedure. |

Rferry,
No need to bother with extensions. Just name it something like "Fenway" or "Camden" or "Whatever" and the game will recognize the format. The file saves in the League folder of the league you are exporting it from unless you specifically set up the path to the Expimp folder in the export prompt. (And why do that?) Copy the file you created and paste it into the League folder of the league you want the stadium in. Go the the Edit Ballpark screen in League Setup and click the Import button. Type in the one word name of the stadium and you should then have it in the stadium listing. |

Teflon, you've been a great help to me without your even knowing it. I had my solo-league team playing at Camden Yards but rewrote my league park and parkconfig files without realizing my defaults would be erased (file that under the L for "Lesson learned the hard way"
). Now my team can return from its road trip at long last. Many thanks!
