Logo submitted for your enhancement

Hey all, I noticed that a few of you are wizards with the digital paintbrush, so I thought I would submit a logo that I wish looked better.

I run a 12 team fictional league that uses towns from the San Diego area. The team I manage is the Carlsbad Coyotes, and I couldn't find any good logos on the net, so I cut and paste a couple of different images I found and came up with the following.

The team colors are purple and gold....

Any help would be great!!

actually a light border around the coyote would be best, a tan color

How do you people do this. This is amazing. Hey, if you don't mind, I'm in a fantasy league and I don't have a very good logo because I'm using one of CBS's already made logos. Could you guys make one for me if it's not hastle. My teams name is Ullbergs Underdogs so what ever you think looks good is fine with me.

I like em all but Shaner99's 1st one because the wolf is absolutely awesome. I also like Cuss16's 1st or 2nd one with the C, that is pretty awesome as well.
