Unretire - Help using utility

I know I am slow - but every time I use this unretire utility - it doesn't work. I set the dbase and I can see the retired players - I drag selected retiree over to the unretire section then I save. When I go into the game - I don't see him.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Can you only unretire someone AFTER the season or can you do it DURING the season.

Any help is appreciated.

make sure to close OOTP.
You seems to do the good steps and should see the player
in the free agent section.

make sure ootp is closed when you unretire someone - then open back up and player will be in the free agent pool.
