Small bug in Cato's OOTP History 4.1?

Hi, I've just simmed a couple of seasons in OOTP4. I use CommishJoe's Exporter 1.3 and Cato's utility v4.1.

Before I post the problem, let me just say - these are great utils, and I love them. You can mine a wealth of information from the pages Cato's util generates!

Anyways, it's kind of a small thing, but...

I was trying to look for centerfielders to trade for in the positional leaderboards. I selected a player and searched, only to come up with no CFs by that name. When I searched the name, I found that he was actually a RF.

Basically, I'm getting all of my RFs listed as CF, and vice versa on the positional leaderboards. The player pages are fine, they are listed at their correct positions. Only the leaderboards are switched.

Anybody else notice this?

Good eye - I just checked this on our league's Cato history pages, which are created with the OOTP5 version of both the Exporter and the History utility (exporter version 5, History utility version 5.0.0), and found the same problem. CF and RF are switched, although LF is fine.

So it looks like this may have been a bug for some time now, since the 4.x version of the utility had the same problem as well.

One other small bug.

When parsing the transactions (trade data) in one of my leagues the program came up with a Trade.TeamTo error (Team To can't be 0).

It turns out this error was associated with Free Agent Signings of "dummy" players who were then traded. Deleting that line corrected the issue.

The RF/CF thing is fixed in the next version (5.1). I'll look at the 4.x series soon.

This will only fix things going forward, years already in the database will remain switched.

ltrans.htm

This is the file that it parses all the trade information from. In my case I was able to check the .mdb file and find out which day and trade gave the game it's first issue and then just tried deleting the FA signing of the dummy player, and sure enough it worked.
