Question about a history utility

I was wondering if anyone could que me in on the following question.

The one feature I always long for in every Baseball Sim I use is a team stat history, and career leaders utility.

To explain by comparision:

I used to be a huge Front Page Sports Football 97-98 player. A fellow by the name of Lorne Sunby mabe the most amazing utilities. Maybe some of you remeber them. Basically they were a batch file program you ran from DOS at the exact conclusion of each season and it would accumulate and total the following in a HTML report.

- your teams career leaders in all major categories (career.dat)
- your teams single season leaders in the same (season.dat
- your teams individual single game and season records, and team records (records .dat)

I may be in the minority on this, but one of my favorite parts of the game experience is devoloping a player and watching him as he works his way up the charts for your team career leaders.

I had a career league where I was the Mets and I had a rookie named Steve Andreson who eventually broke Tom Seavers Team record of 198 Wins. I love the career totals the game already produces, I just wish it could be filtered by tream.

So after babling on about this , my question is if there is a way to do this with out having to keep track of this by hand. If it is already been done somewhere, sorry for the useless post.

Thanks in advance

Answer -- So much that we can get our legs tied together, walking 3 legged for the rest of our lives and I'd love it.

Mine does most of this. It keeps track of all stats year by year and career totals, but not the single game records though. To find a specific team's stats you would just use Excel's Sort or Filter in the "All" sheets.

Check it out at:

You just gave me an idea to keep track of a team's total batting, pitching, and fielding stats by year and historically. I'll try to add that in the next version.
