OOTP History 5.2 problem
I am trying to import my stats and during the processing of trades I get this message:
OOTP Invalid Procedure Call or Argument I can hit OK and it continues from there, but shortly after that it gives me this message: Run Time Error -2147217913 (80040e07) Data Type Mismatch in Criteria Expression Then the program crashes. Any ideas? I just updated to Cato 5.2, I'm in the third year of a historical league started in 1970 using the Ankit DB. The first 2 years updated correctly with OOTP History 5.1, I updated the program before I imported for the third year.

Version 5.1 did some bad things to the database. This may not be the problem, but if you have the first 2 years of data, I would try starting from scratch using 5.2. If you don't have that data, then zip up your database and the data files for year 3 and I'll get it fixed.

When importing stats, I'm getting the following error:
Run time error: "3021" Either BOF or EOF is true, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record. Any ideas ? This is the same error I was getting in 5.1. I scratched the database, created a new one and am still getting the error in 5.2 Any help would be appreciated. I really enjoy this utility and would like to continue using it if at all possible. Thanks

Re-run your export of the .html files from OOTP. I was getting the same error, and when Cato looked at my .html files, the players weren't links, for some reason. After I re-created the files, and ran OOTP history again, it worked. Hope this helps.

something else to watch for is that Cato's util doesn't cater for regional settings other than US (specifically date formats). So before running Catos util I reset my regional settings to US and then switch them back when I'm finished.
I was getting exactly the same error message and that's what fixed it for me. I think it's most important for the trade data and assigning of free agents stages. |
