Cato 5.2 help - images?

I just ran the History utility (version 5.2) on my league for the first time and I have a problem.

Everything works fine (the db gets created and I get no error messages). However, when I open the league Index file and look at individual player pages, there are no images.

I selected the option to get images (the logos work fine) and I even checked the db (have -1 values in the GetPhotos and UsePhotos fields) so that's not the problem.

When I looked at the Images subdirectory (where the History files are created), there are files in the "logos" directory but the "photos" directory is empty. I thought maybe I could simply copy and paste the player photos to the empty directory but that hasn't fixed the problem.

Any idea on how I can fix this and how I can keep this from occuring in the future? I've used past versions of the utility and never ran into this before.

How are the files named in the photos directory? Can you give some examples? Just copying the files into the images folder won't work. They would need to be renamed to the player's playerid in the database. If you look at the source of one of the player pages, what is in the "img scr" tag under the Player Bio section?

I believe it is only creating the images if the photos are named after the players(like Joe_Smith.bmp) and not those that are based on player id#'s (ie p123.bmp)

The images are based on player id's (as Tiger Fan pointed out). That is, p###.bmp.

I didn't have any problems with the previous version. At least, I don't THINK I did!

Anyone else have this problem? Was this an issue in other versions and I just didn't notice it?

It's suppose to look for a file named after the player's name first then the pnumber second, if a 'name' file isn't there. I'll check it out before the next release.
