Logo Madness! Need a lil' Help

First of all, my apologies to Cuss for not getting any kind of gfx to him in a timely manner for any logos. Sorry man, things have been a little busy at work and home (they are much less so now).

I've put together some rough gfx for each of my team logos, and had considered just keeping them, without the any text designation for the team (i.e. the Norfolk Tides would only have a wave, but no team name on the logo).

But...I figured I'd throw a few out to you majicians here and see what you can do with them.

Right now I'm looking for my first seven.

Salt Lake City Speed
Vancouver Owls
Washington, DC Shadow
New Orleans Roughnecks
Calgary Zippers
Managua Four Roses
Ciudad Juarez Chupacabras

I'll attach the gfx files I've narrowed it down to thus far and let you guys at it, if you're willing to help out. Have fun!

the file has to be in either jpg or gif format. bmp files always show as attachments.

Managua Four Roses.

This graphic came from a Bourbon bottle, but, interestingly enough has the same year that the original Managua Four Roses club (one of the first two professional teams formed in Nicaragua) began play.

Wow! Great Zippers logo!

I agree, it looks cleaner without Calgary there.

Yeah, the whole point of the cliffhanger dude was to cash in on the mountain climbing terminology of a "zipper" (pretty much a near-death experience - or what feels like one).

But I actually like the intrigue of the text-only logo. You can interpret your own meaning.

Regardless, it looks great. You guys do fantastic work. Thank you.
