Is there any way....

Just wondering if there's an utility or something that will retire every player in the game over a certain age. Say like 22 or something. It'll will be really useful for ppl playing a college league or something.

No. But I agree that it would be useful.

The game is set up to simulate baseball on the highest level...and it goes much deeper than just when they retire.

I always wondered why people insist on simulating minors, college, little league, and t-ball on a professional baseball sim.

For instance, notice how there is Madden NFL...and then the NCAA title put out by the same company? Cause they're two seperate arenas.

I once tried to sim a professional league in a Tee Ball Sim, Tee Ball: Go For The Glory 2003. It did not work at all... crashed my computer, installed a .wav as my start-up sound that said "Why the hell don't you start my boy", and fur was constantly spitting out of the hard drive.

I had to format my XP Pro computer, install Me, then upgrade back to XP.

And there is still the smell . . .

I always wondered why people insist on adding useless comments to a post, without offering any valid options.

You dislike the idea of doing it -- that's great for you. You do bring up a valid point of NCAA vs. John Madden -- except there isn't a text simulator out there for college or minor league baseball. Adapting a different league type to a solid sim engine isn't the worst thing that's ever happened in life.

You make a good point, when it comes to pro sports and college, little league and T-ball sports. They are two separate entities. Please notice that there is no college, little league or T-ball simulating in OOTP.

However, pro baseball is different from other pro sports in that the pro baseball teams actually run minor league clubs. These clubs are an extension of the pro franchise. That's why you find the minor system simming also in OOTP a pro baseball sim.
